So after the heartbeat incident it was no surprise to me when Nyah announced today that she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. I think the reminder came from a Dora episode she was watching where Dora was pretending to be a doctor but the idea had been there with all of our doctor visits.
Daddy of course tried his best to change her mind - he made various suggestions like CEO, entrepreneur, artist, musician even teacher! But Nyah held fast to her decision. Maybe the doctor gene just skipped a generation!
She already loves giving pretend injections (not getting them) and is a pro at wearing and using a stethoscope! She also asks for and wears latex gloves at the doctors office during my checkups so she is definitely on her way! I guess we's better start saving for med school!!
