Wow I have some catching up to do!

Where do I start?!

The kids had a great and busy summer! Nyah went to summer camp for 6 weeks 3 days a week - by SCHOOL BUS!!! She was a crawfish (the name of her camp group) and she loved it! She has made lots of friends and learned all sorts of different sports like tennis, basketball, soccer, karate and kickball. She has also become very comfortable in the water thanks to her 2 swims a day at camp!

Reyna got her ears peirced!

Nani came to visit while Daddy was in India on business. We went to Coopers Beach in the Hamptons - a first for all of us!

We all went to Edmonton for Daddy's cousin's wedding, where the girls wore sari's that Daddy got for them from India! Then we were off to San Diego for a much needed vacation and to visit Grandma. Nyah showed off her new swimming skills and Reyna discovered, the pool, sand, the ocean and dogs all for the first time! OH we also rented a family bike which was a lot of fun! We visited all the major parks in San Diego - Zoo, Wild Animal Park and Sea World - the kids loved all the animals and we got some great exercise!

Mommy and Daddy celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary, which has nothing to do with the kids but I thought it was useful to put in here as a time reference.

Last week Nyah started nursery school at Miss Sues (same place as her summer camp) and so far she loves it! She goes 5 days a week for 3 hours a day plus enrichment twice a week in the mornings.

Reyna also started Gymboree last week and stared in wonder at the other kids and all the colors and toys and LOVED the bubbles! Hopefully she will enjoy it as much as Nyah did!

What else?...

Reyna has become mobile! She is crawling - fast! Nothing is safe now and poor Nyah is constantly saying "No Reyna! That's mine!" Or "MOMMY!!! Reyna is on the stairs!" We haven't put up our stair gates due to technical difficulties bur lucky for me Nyah is like my very own travelling baby monitor!

The girls are so madly in love with eachother! They each get so excited when the other comes into the room it's priceless! I can only hope they are always so close.

Nyah is unbelievably patient with her baby sister, even when she pulls her clothes, toys hair, and even her eyelashes! She shares all her safe toys with her sister and is very understanding when we tell her she can't play with un-safe toys around her.

All in all the two sisters are having a ball with eachother and also growing on their own. I never knew the joy of having a sister but seeing the girls together I am so glad they will have eachother growing up.
