Nyah's first Christmas is off to a great start - the tree is up and decorated, presents have been bought, wrapped and are waiting under the tree, Nyah's holiday card has been mailed out, Nyah's stocking is up but we're not quite sure what to put in it.
We went to get a picture with Santa but will have to go again because someone was not in the mood.
Nyah has already begun opening gifts but she gets easily distracted so I figure if she starts opening now, she'll have at least one opened by Christmas!
So our tree has an identity crisis, Aamir has called our tree a nondenominational holiday tree - I still call it a Christmas tree and Dadima and Bapa are much happier calling it an Eid tree. At the end of the day we have a 4 foot evergreen in the livingroom with stuffed toys hanging from the branches and wrapped presents underneath. Call it what you like - It's Nyah's first Tree!
